the game of the gods
THE GAME OF THE GODS
I showed you my last body,
I made you read my previous verses
hoping they won't be,
and that they will be the last.
I showed you my path
walking alongside you,
in the hope that crosses memories
making something in you bloom within me.
I begin everything anew,
observing the young boy still tender.
"Read what I have to say,
for your time will come to rewrite all of this."
Begin again,
watching the bird fly effortlessly.
Observe the song pulsing in your
and in my heart.
Because we are beginning,
and from afar we have already finished everything.
I restart everything anew,
witnessing the splendid sunrise.
I write my texts,
I see the blood dripping from my fingers,
handing over the empty cup
and the body is no longer possessed by desires.
See everything I see,
be attentive to the last kiss.
Because passion will lead you to stumble,
and the pain that heals my soul
also deifies the happening of the deed.
And I cry watching you smile,
and you smile watching me cry,
for I blame myself for not being able to embrace it.
And everything I have to nothing
I will deliver.
And everything I am,
living in this life,
feeling this warmth,
slowly fading away,
being reborn in the present.
Entering the game of the gods,
where God made Himself dead
and cast upon the sacred ground
His most loving manifesto.
But I cannot translate
His fingers,
but the I can amplify His concepts.
Revive in you what in me
has already died, for I will leave my last body on this planet
and will carry with me everything I planted as certainty.
